The Blooms & Roots is a multi-purpose salve, formulated for sensitive and distressed skin conditions. It works as an excellent winter hand cream or all-over moisturiser on dry patches of skin. Made with a potent plant infusion of Burdock root, Marshmallow root, Calendula blooms and Yarrow blooms & leaf. 

The Gardener's Salve works on a deep cellular level to repair minor cuts and grazes, soft tissue damage, bug bites and more. Crafted with Comfrey leaf, Plantain leaf and Lavender bud, this salve is a herbal first aid kit essential. 

Suitable for all skin types. Essential oil free, formulated for very sensitive folk.

Made with organic, cold pressed, plant infused oil, organic unrefined shea butter and local beeswax. No essential oils, just pure plant extractions.  

This set will arrive ready to gift. Wrapped in naturally dyed, recycled sari silk ribbon with dried flowers from the garden.

HERBAL HIGHLIGHTS

Comfrey has the common name "knitbone" for its ability to repair fractures and sprains. It is a useful herb for supporting the healing process, but only use after a bone has been set. The high allantoin content supports healthy tissue repair and aids healing for an array of skin injuries. Comfrey is a rapid skin accelerator and can quickly heal the top layer of skin together, leaving a pocket underneath where bacteria can fester. Do not use on deep wounds or lacerations. Use on minor cuts and grazes.

Ribwort Plantain is often used in herb poultices to repair wounds, insect bites and stings.

Lavender has antimicrobial and mood lifting qualities.

Burdock Root is anti-inflammatory, promotes blood circulation, purges infections and detoxifies the skin.

Marshmallow Root is a gentle mucilaginous herb that hydrates and promotes wound healing.

Calendula is a well-known skin herb, offering anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and vulnerary (wound-healing) qualities.

Yarrow improves moisture content and is a strong restorative.

HOW TO USE

Scoop out a small amount and gently rub onto affected area. Repeat when necessary until healed. For sprains and light fractures, smooth a thick layer onto the skin, and wrap with a muslin cloth. Hold it in position to allow the salve to fully sink in and do the work.
