Lazuli Remedies is a small herbal apothecary offering botanical skincare and remedies. Each product is handmade by me, Celeste, in small batches, using herbs and flowers from my allotment, local sustainable farms and the land.
Herbal infusions are the foundation of all Lazuli products, with a focus on antioxidant content, fatty acid profile and shelf stability.
A note on essential oils: Most of the remedies are made without essential oils, and are gently scented by the raw ingredients. Essential oils often have ecological drawbacks, and don’t always include the full spectrum of compounds that are bio-available in plants. They’re powerful (and amazing) medicine, but can be irritating to those with extra sensitive skin. I use them with great care and only when suitable to compliment the formulation.
Lazuli is rooted in herbalism, through my self-taught and formal study of herbal medicine. I’m passionate about field to face skincare and using high-quality ingredients to create effective, nourishing products that stay true to their origins and the natural world.
I believe in circular processes, from seed - plant - extraction - compost. As we move through the seasons my offerings will change and adapt with the turning wheel.
