Traditional cold-pressed soap made with goats milk, herbs and honey. This bar contains whole plant extracts of bay laurel and garden sage, infused into fresh, extra virgin olive oil.

Inspired by Daphne the river nymph, Aleppo, Syria, and the evergreen landscapes of winter. 

Why Goats Milk? 

The high fatty acid content keeps the skin hydrated. It's rich in vitamins, minerals and lactic acid, which gently exfoliate the skin. It helps maintain the skin's natural PH balance, so it's perfect for sensitive skin types. Bathing in milk is an ancient nourishing practice. 

The milk used in the botanical soap is fresh, regenerative and locally sourced. All plants are wild and beyond-organic, homegrown or gathered from the land.

HERBAL HIGHLIGHTS

✦ Bay Laurel is warming and aromatic, traditionally used to soothe the skin and ease tension. It has a long history in cleansing and clarifying preparations. One of the oldest herbal uses in soap, Bay blends beautifully with the organic butters, oils, honey and milk for a luxurious soap bar you want to reach for.

✦ Garden Sage is naturally astringent and purifying, helping to balance oily or blemish-prone skin. The scent is highly aromatic, cutting through fog and bringing a sense of clarity and focus. Sage, the seer.

✦ Goats Milk is rich in lactic acid and fatty acids, gently exfoliating and deeply hydrating. It helps maintain the skin's natural pH, making it well suited to sensitive skin.

✦ Honey is a natural humectant with soothing, antibacterial qualities, drawing moisture into the skin. We use local honey from our beekeeper, and we pick the bay leaves from their tree.

HOW TO USE

Gentle cleansing bar for hand, body and face.

To keep your bar happy and extend its life, keep dry in-between uses and away from water.

Ingredients: Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil), Sodium Sheabutterate (Shea Butter), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil), Caprae Lac (Goat Milk), Glycerin, Laurus Nobilis Leaf (Bay Laurel), Salvia Officinalis Leaf (Sage), Mel (Honey), Rosmarinus Officinalis Oil (Rosemary), Juniperus Communis Oil (Juniper Berry). Less than 1% essential oils. 100% organically produced ingredients.

Handmade the slow way and left to cure for 4-6 weeks.
